TPO is finally being banned in UK from Feb 2027

The use of TPO in nails cosmetic is finally scheduled to come into effect in the UK with the following 2 stages:

The use of TPO-containing products will be prohibited from 15th February 2027. 

from 15th August 2026, any products that contain TPO cannot be sold in the UK.

TPO was banned in cosmetic products in the EU starting 1st September 2025.

Can I still use TPO products after the ban?

The salon owner and nail technicians can use any nails products that contain TPO until 15th Feb 2027 in the UK.
